New Federal Rules to Improve Disability Employment!

 

The Department of Labor has finalized two rules implementing the Vietnam Era Veterans'' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act. For the first time, companies that serve as federal contractors, meaning they hold contracts and subcontracts with the federal government, will be required to set specific goals around employing protected veterans and qualified employees with disabilities.
