Before the ADA and other civil rights laws this was not always the case. Inaccessible polling sights and balloting made it difficult for people with disabilities to exercise their rights and give their voice in deciding our next leaders. Much has been done to remedy this and allow all of our citizens the ability to cast their vote. To read more about voting laws and protections visit Accessible Voting ADA Now.
