What the Northeast ADA Center Means to Me—Chris Sweet

Christopher Sweet January 16, 2025

When I began my tenure working for the Northeast ADA Center, it was preceded by a long career in working with people with disabilities. When working in direct care and program management, the needs of people with disabilities are usually apparent as they seek resources, treatment, and programs that assist them in being successful in the community.

My 10 years with the Northeast ADA Center have shown me that there is so much that people do not know regarding their rights and the availability of resources. The center can be a vital lifeline to people who have so much uncertainty about their future. I am proud to be a part of an organization that informs and brings positive change to people and families affected by disability.
