Tips to Create & Maintain Accessible Sidewalks

Sidewalks must be 5 feet wide to provide passing space.

Street furniture, plantings, and other fixed items should not protrude into travel routes.

Remember, without curb ramps, sidewalks ravel is dangerous, difficult, and sometimes impossible for people who use wheelchairs, scooters, and other mobility aids.
