'Getting Older at Work'

Disability prevalence greatly increases with age, so it's important that older workers and employers know their rights and responsibilities under the ADA. Reasonable accommodations that may benefit older workers include:

Accessible parking spaces
Screen magnification software
Flexible scheduling
Periodic rest breaks
A sit-stand desk
TIme off for medical treatment

Make sure to communicate with older workers when deciding which accommodations to put into place.
