Martin Luther King Junior’s Impact on a Disability Rights Advocate
The Northeast ADA Center is remembering and honoring the life and work of Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior in January. King’s impact on the civil rights movement is immeasurable. However, his work also had a profound effect on the disability rights movement. Western New York advocate B.J. Stasio took a vacation to tour the Martin Luther King Junior Memorial in Washington DC. Stasio says he wanted to honor King for his sacrifice and work.
