Do you wonder how many people have what types of disabilities in your community, state, or territory? Or how disability breaks down by factors like race, employment, poverty, or educational attainment in your area? You can easily find this information for New York, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico in the Northeast ADA Center’s Local Area Disability Data Dashboard, which is abbreviated as LADDD.

The dashboard can display local disability statistics for counties in New York and New Jersey, and for municipalities in Puerto Rico—these are all in the Northeast ADA Center’s region. Just choose a location from the menus and click the Submit button. LADDD will build a report for the area. The report will include a variety of statistics, so be sure to scroll down on the report to view them all.

If you are looking for similar statistics with a national scope, turn to the Northeast ADA Center resource DisabilityStatistics.org. This resource also has a disability status report for the US Virgin Islands.
